HOW DID I MISS THIS!?!
this photo (from today’s tacoma news tribune) shows all the excitement from down in puyallup yesterday – less than 5 miles from where i live! donny bonaduce, buxom amazon babes and BIGFOOT!!! all at the little ol’ liberty theater in downtown puyallup (about three blocks from the meeker mansion). they were all there to celebrate the release of the new Syfy channel film about bigfoot (called, strangely: “Bigfoot”) starring not only this former danny partridge, but howard hesseman (WKRP) and sherilyn fenn (twin peaks), and also MR. ALICE COOPER !!!!
—AC:i had a teacher in college who wasn’t a very good design instructor (or designer), but a great hustler. one day, he was watching an episode of ‘the bionic woman’ and decided it sucked so bad that he could write a better screenplay. so, he did. he sent it to the studio and they bought it (!) and actually produced it! (it was the flying saucer episode). after that he wrote a few more tv scripts and then fizzled out. i seem to remember the bigfoot episode of ’6 million dollar man’ was one of his.—
but, the biggest news is that BIGFOOT HISSELF showed up at the opening , too. it’s amazing. he never does publicity, ya know!
could it get any better? man, i’m pissed! i always miss all the cool stuff.
