i’m all excited about this thing. it’s a gig poster by frank zappa from back in the early early daze. seems ol’ frank also dabbled in graphics, as well. he was pretty darn cool, too. it;’s such classic southern california rock lettering from that era. pre-psych but still freaky.

cal schenkel posted this as an example of what frank’s graphics looked like back then. apparently, somebody found one of his drawings in a thrift store and authenticated it through the tv show ‘history detectives.’ they contacted cal as the best expert to identify authorship when it comes to zappa’s old art. they even interviewed him the the teevee and all. look for it on your re-runs channels.
