This is a photo of the late great Carl Sagan holding the most important piece of graphic design ever produced in mankind’s history – forever. This little piece of graphic design language (our oldest and most primal language form) will outlast every other creative endeavor of our species most likely. It may easily =wind up being the ONLY remaining artistic statement made by human beings. It’s rather huge to contemplate.BEHOLD! the power of graphic design! … I sincerely doubt it would turn out any better if it were done today. We’d probably include a fetus and some guns. And a tea bag.
