Thanks to the BoomUnderground Facebook page for reminding us that in 1968, Yellow Submarine opened. We also thank the animation gods that Robert Zemeckis’s attempt to remake this classic as one of his awful “motion-capture” films has been rebuffed. Here is the wraparound cover for the paperback adaptation, fully designed and illustrated throughout with screen shots from the movie (although the design is uncredited).
