The beautiful Tibetan detailing seen on the “turn” edge of the jacket cover was appropriated from a traditional arts tapestry or wall hanging. Instead of spending the art budget on a scan or transparency of questionable detail or quality, designer Martin Ogolter went to a Tibetan arts folkcraft gallery in New York City and used about the equivalent amount that a stock agency would’ve charged and purchased an incredibly elaborate and beautiful wall hanging—about 1/100th of which you see here. Clever boy.
