just one in every crowd?

It’s tough to kick the habit. The old reflexes; centuries of old European anti-Jewish prejudice:  stereotypes of Jewish control of government, international conspiracy, the media, international trade and the entire money and banking apparatus. The old attacks now mingling with anti Israel policies as a form of cultural de-legitimization which has been the standard form of Islamic anti-semitism that has been re-packaged out of Europe and includes anti-globalism and jews who are identified with Israel, globalism and United States foreign policy interests.

These  anti-Semitic resonances, the rise of the intellect was clearly associated with the rise of monotheism and, in our era, the predominance of world Jewry, the endless polemics against the toxic influences of this “other” leaves little to the imagination. In this narrative, there is little doubting that  the wasteland of current civilization is significantly attributable to Jewish influences, even to the point which, in the footsteps of Nietzsche, holds Christianity as well to be victim of this Semitic virus and to be held in less esteem.

Title: “Purim Drunks”—Dialektik der Aufklärung (Dialectic of Enlightenment) was partly based on notes taken by Gretel Karplus, during discussions between Adorno and Horkheimer in the early 1940s. They argued that reason has become an instrument of totalitarian control. “Enlightenment behaves toward things as a dictator toward man. He knows them is so far as he can manipulate them.” Much of the work is devoted to study of anti-Semitism, the actual reversion of enlightened civilization to barbarism, and the culture industry, in which enlightenment has found its ideological expression. —Read More:http://www.kirjasto.sci.fi/adorno.htm image:http://www.ydfa.com/artists/menahem_kahana/artwork_info.php?image_id=1310

(see link at end) …A Democratic Party caucus chairman and former Barack Obama campaign manager, MD Rabbi Alam, is not only running for secretary of state in Missouri, he is also an unabashed 9/11 Truther who believes that no Jews were killed during the al Qaeda attacks on the United States in 2001.

“Why [was] 9/11 was a official holidy [sic] for all jewish [sic] people worked in the the [sic] WTC? Was 9/11 a conspiracy??” Alam wrote on a discussion forum online.

“Tell me how many of the Jewish people died on the 9/11 tragedy?” he added.

The Free Beacon, a daily internet publication that interviewed the candidate at length, confronted Alum with State Department statistics showing that between 200 and 400 Jews, in addition to five Israelis, were killed on September 11. Alum questioned the validity of the numbers and stuck to his own beliefs….

—Chancellor Willy Brandt pursued paths of rapprochement and reconciliation that were still regarded as impossible by his predecessors in office. During a state visit to Poland in December 1970, Brandt spontaneously knelt before a memorial to the victims of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. This now iconic image circulated widely within the international press. In West Germany, Brandt was criticized for his gesture by segments of the FDP, the parliamentary opposition, and the press. But what is more startling, political strategists point out, is how someone with Alum’s views was able to climb the ranks of the Democratic Party so quickly. Alum, who also served in the U.S. military, is chairman of the National Democratic Party Asian American Caucus (NDPAAC) and he worked as a “satellite campaign manager” on the 2008 campaign that elected President Obama to office. And less than a year ago he received an invitation to the White House as a thank you. Alam also has known ties to radical Muslim clerics with extreme anti-Israel views….

The predominant point is an overwhelming ideological dimension to anti-Semitism.  In Theodor Adorno’s post-war  definition: “The ideology -of anti-Semitism- consists of . . . stereotyped negative opinions describing the Jews as threatening, immoral, and categorically different from non-Jews, and of hostile attitudes urging various forms of restriction, exclusion, and suppression as a means of solving ‘the Jewish problem’ ” It’s still valid, perhaps even more so, as the ambiguity and antagonism towards Israel can tailored to fit the narrative in a form of transference.  So, the ideology of this new anti-Semitism includes  stereotyped negative opinions about the Jewish state, its citizens, supporters and co-religionists as the “other” of Adorno where the Jewish problem is now the Israel problem. Same story, different chapter since it urges restriction, exclusion, sanctions, and suppression in order to solve another variant of the Jewish problem, which is only abetted by criticism in Israel of the secular elite of their own Jewish problem in the form of the religious….

…“That the DNC would in any way affiliate itself with a 9/11 Truther who spews such anti-Semitic lunacy, and defends and repeats such bile when confronted, is beyond deeply troubling, it’s simply wrong,” said Josh Block, a Democratic strategist and former spokesman for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.Read More:http://www.worldjewishdaily.com/missouri-antisemite.php

ADDENDUM:

…Adorno and Horkheimer traced Anti-Semitism to the urge for equality. Liberalism advocated right of man, allowed the Jews property, but the harmony of society turned against the liberal Jews in the form of the harmony of a national community. “If the masses accept the reactionary ticket which contains an anti-Semitic component they are obeying social mechanism in which the experiences of individual persons with individual Jews play no part. It has in fact been found that anti-Semitism has as much chance in areas where there are no Jews as it does, say, in Hollywood.” Dialectic of Enlightenment was published when the end of Nazism was in sight. “If the arrogance of reason has led to barbarism, what is left?” he asked. In one of his post-war essays Adorno made his famous question, is it possible to write poetry after Auschwitz. Read More:http://www.kirjasto.sci.fi/adorno.htm

(see link at end)… Just as Rambam had been chased out of Andalusia (Spain) by marauding Muslim armies from the Maghreb, the Jews of Yemen were being persecuted by the Muslim mujahideen in the Arabian Peninsula. In this famous letter, Rambam terms Mohammed the psychopath (Meshugah) and describes the ugliness and the viciousness of the Muslims toward Jews as the worst the Jews had experienced since the Exile. Indeed, Rambam, who most certainly understood the theology of Islam, points out in this letter that Islam was theologically corrupt as well, having taken the Jewish Torah and effectively rewritten it for its own purposes.Read more: http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/09/a_response_to_rabbi_shmuly_yanklowitz.html#ixzz20LqAM2GH

  1. No-el says:

Anti Zionism is on the rise both inside Israel and more importantly in the west. Please make the distinction between the Anti Zionist and Anti Semitic, one is hate for a race of people the other is a hate of a psychopathic ideology born in the west and the latter’s doing more damage to Israel than any Fascist could dream of.

Israels war should be on Zionism as it’s the cancer that needs to be removed.
